بله، يک راه هوشمندانه براي حل اين مشکل ساخت تراسفورمر ( Transformer) است. گجتي که بتواند واسط ميان تبلت، نب بوک و گوشي هوشمند شود. به اين ترتيب که با اتصال آن به گوشي، گوشي شما به تبلت تبديل شود.

برخي شرکت ها اين ايده را در نمايشگاه CES امسال عملي کردند. براي مثال شرکت موتورولا با معرفي Atrix 4G کاربران را شگفت زده کرد. اين گوشي با داشتن پردازنده دوهسته، دوربين 5 مگاپيکسلي و 16 گيگا بايت حافظه انويديا يکي از بهترين‌هاست. صفحه نمايش Atrix 4G 4 اينچ است و نمي‌توان از آن به عنوان تبلت استفاده کرد. اين شرکت در همان نمايشگاه ترانسفورمر جالبي براي اين گوشي معرفي کرد که با اتصال آن، Atrix 4G تبديل به يک لپ‌تاپ داک dock مي‌شد. اين لپ تاپ هيچ سخت افزار اختصاصي نداشت و تنها قالبي براي اين گوشي بود.

امام اين همه داستان نيست. در نمايشگاه Computex 2011 ، شرکت اسوس (Asus) ترانسفورمر جديدي معرفي کرده است که گوشي موبايل را به تبلت خوش فرمي تبديل مي‌کند. اين گجت که PadFone نام دارد قالبي براي گوشي آندروييدي است و با جا دادن گوشي در محفظه مخصوص در پشت آن، گوشي به يک تبلت تمام عيار تبديل مي‌شود و کابران را از خريد تبلت و پرداخت هزينه‌هاي اضافي باز مي‌دارد.

اين ابزار در يک واقع يک گوشي 4.3 اينچي آندروييدي با يک ترانسفورمر 10.1 اينچي است. Padfone علاوه بر داشتن صفحه نمايش بزرگتر به باتري اضافي نيز مجهز است و با قطع اتصال ميان آن و گوشي، صفحه نمايشگر خاموش مي‌شود. نحوه اتصال ميان اين دو گجت پورت HDMI و ميني يو اس بي است.

A few teasing images surfaced last week offering glimpses of a new device from ASUS making its debut at Computex 2011, something called PadFone, as PocketNow discovered. Earlier today, the same site posted some more revealing pics of the mysterious device, and it definitely manages to live up to its name.

As you can see, the PadFone comes fully equipped with a secret compartment for the docking of your ASUS-branded Android phone. Nothing is known about how the two devices will pair, but a design like that offers a lot of possibilities. More info will be coming when Computex kicks off this Tuesday.

You can also see in the image below how the PadFone seems to follow the lead of ASUS’ recently released Pad Transformer. If the pictured keyboard docking station is anything like that Transformer’s, it includes a built-in trackpad and battery, as well as USB and SD card ports. Folding a smartphone into a tablet into a netbook seems almost too over the top to be true, the Swiss Army Knife of mobile devices… and yet that’s exactly what we appear to be looking at.

The smartphone is actually the only smart aspect of this hardware pair -- the slate part acts as a display, a set of speakers, an extended battery, and an I/O extender, but it doesn"t work by itself. ASUS also tells us there"ll be other functionality enabled by the tablet panel, but that"s being kept under wraps for now. Compatibility between the display dock and subsequent phone generations is being contemplated but couldn"t be confirmed, and as to the UI, ASUS says it"ll be almost the same as its second-gen Android tablets. You heard that right, second generation ASUS Android tablets -- to succeed the Transformer and Slider -- will be coming around the same time as the Padfone.
